About these terms
These terms cover your use of kiasu.games, run by Kiasu Games from Singapore ("we" and "us"). By playing or buying a pass, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
The games
Some games are free, within the limits shown on the site. A pass unlocks the rest. We may add, change or retire games and packs over time. We work hard to keep the site running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes.
Who can play
Hosts and anyone buying a pass must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian's OK. Kids are welcome to play in a game an adult is running.
Play nice
Please don't:
- type other people's private details, or anything you wouldn't say out loud to the room
- use the games to bully, harass or shame anyone
- try to break, overload or misuse the site or its AI, for example with bots or by asking it for things that aren't part of a game
- copy the site, its games or its content to make your own product
Anyone can pass on any question, no reason needed.
About the AI
Some content, like fibs, prompts, cards, verdicts and titles, is written by AI. It's meant to be funny and harmless, but it can get things wrong, be odd, or miss the mark. It's for fun only, so don't take anything it writes as fact or advice. If it writes something that's off, tell us at hello@kiasu.games so we can fix it.
Passes and payment
- Prices are in US dollars. Any sales tax or VAT is shown at checkout.
- Creem, our payment partner, is the seller of record. It takes the payment and handles tax, and its own terms also apply to your purchase.
- A Party Pass unlocks every game, for unlimited players, for 12 hours. The 12 hours start at the first game that needs the pass, not when you buy it.
- A Holiday 3-Pack is three Party Passes, used one at a time.
- A Season Pass unlocks every game for one year from when you buy it. It doesn't renew by itself.
- A pass works on up to 2 devices at once. It's for your own parties, so please don't share or resell the link.
Refunds
If your pass didn't work or the night didn't happen, email hello@kiasu.games within 14 days of buying and we'll refund you. The money goes back the way you paid. This doesn't take away any rights you have under your local consumer law.
What's ours, and what's yours
The games, their words and cards, the designs and the Kiasu Games name belong to us. What you type stays yours. You let us use it only to run your game. The share cards at the end of a game are yours to save and share.
Our responsibility
We offer the site as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before a claim, or US$20 if you haven't paid anything. Nothing here limits anything the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top. We may block anyone who breaks them.
The law
These terms follow the law of Singapore, and disputes go to the courts of Singapore. If you're a consumer living elsewhere, you keep the protections your local law gives you.
