1. In Sync: a couples quiz on one phone
Pick "Together" and type your two first names. You get 8 questions, some about your habits ("Who is the better cook?") and some about your tastes. You each pick an answer in secret, then reveal together.
You score as a team, so you win or lose together. At the end you see how in sync you are, as a percentage, with a pair of titles to share.
Pass one phone across the table, or play on two phones. It's free and takes about 10 minutes. Play In Sync.
2. How well do you know me?
One of you writes down an answer about yourself. The other guesses. A match is a point. Start with easy questions (how do I take my coffee?) and work up to harder ones (what am I most proud of?).
We wrote 50 how well do you know me questions to get you started.
3. Would you rather, about each other
Instead of answering "would you rather" yourself, guess what your partner picks. Say your guess out loud before they answer.
- Would you rather have a week in a cabin with no signal, or a week in a city you've never seen?
- Would you rather cook dinner every night for a month, or wash up every night for a month?
- Would you rather always be 10 minutes early, or always 10 minutes late?
4. Two truths and a lie, for two
Each of you says three things about your past. Two are true and one is made up. The other guesses the lie. Childhood stories work best, because even long-time couples haven't heard them all.
Playing with friends too? Spot the Fib is two truths and a lie for 3 to 10 players, where the AI writes the lie for you.
5. The first date replay
Each of you writes down five details from your first date: where you went, what you wore, what you ordered, the first thing you remember the other saying, and how it ended. Compare. You'll argue about at least one.
6. Pick for me
At a restaurant, each of you orders for the other without asking. At home, pick the other's film, song or dessert. A point if they say they'd have picked it too.
7. Twenty questions about your life together
One of you thinks of something from your shared life: a place, a meal, a gift, a moment. The other has 20 yes or no questions to find it.
8. Top three
Pick a topic, like "best holidays together" or "best meals we've had". Each of you writes your top three in secret, then compare. A point for every one you both picked.
9. Draw each other
Set a timer for 60 seconds. Draw each other's face without looking down at the paper. Swap. Nobody wins, and that's fine.
10. Where do we stand?
Put two coasters on the table and name them, like "cold shower" and "hot shower". One of you puts a finger where you stand between the two. The other guesses first. The closer the guess, the better. Try "beach or mountains", "plan everything or wing it", and "early bird or night owl".
Games for long-distance couples
In Sync works across any distance. On one phone, pick "Two phones" and open a room. Send the link to your partner, or read out the short code (like MANGO 42). Each question shows on both phones, and the reveal lands at the same moment. Play it on a video call or a phone call.
Most of the games above also work on a video call: how well do you know me, would you rather, two truths and a lie, top three and twenty questions need nothing but talking.
